ITV has discovered all six episodes of a major pre-Monty Python sketch show made by Terry Jones and Michael Palin, The Complete And Utter History Of Britain.
The surviving material, alongside newly-filmed linking material from Palin and Jones, were released on Blu-ray and DVD in 2014
Ouch, but it bodes well for a home video release, perhaps even for this Christmas. That’d be my uncle’s present sorted, as I imagine he’s not going to be paying for ITV X Premium (which is new to me).

I just read about this this morning, exciting find.
I am also surprised to find out that ITV has a premium streaming platform when most of their best shows make it to britbox anyway…
EDIT It looks as though it is on Britbox so if you have that you’ll be able to watch it without another subscription!
