    You’re right.

When I give money away, I do just that. If I have extra money and a friend needs it, they can have it. If they happen to give it back, that’s great. But I won’t take it if they’re still struggling.

Same here. I couldn’t handle the stress.

Fun story though. My sister was going through a wicked custody case against a dude who works in law enforcement. Dude’s mom worked at the court. It was a damn nightmare. They ordered my sister to get a psychiatric evaluation and it was around 350 bucks. All I had was about 450, so I gave her what she needed and figured I’d sell a few old games or skip a bill. I told her to pay me back when she got ahead because I legit couldn’t afford it at all.

I stopped to get gas and a drink on the way home and this dude was standing there playing lottery. I asked him if he was winning and he said, “of course not. No one really wins if they play like I do.” I made a comment about how I hadn’t played in years. He said, “I got a feeling for you. Get one of those printout bingo tickets. You look like you’ve got some luck.” I got it, 5 bucks, took it home and played it. I hit $500.

I called my sister and told her that the universe paid me back, she didn’t have to worry about it.

Religious people say that god gave me money back with a bonus. I know that I wasted money I didn’t have in a lottery ticket and just got lucky haha. Either way, I wish I could do it again.
