Around my area they’re converting unused developed land like old parking lots into solar farms and have teams of local goats that roam around eating all the growth instead of trying to maintain it with chemicals or equipment. I’ve also ran into articles like this one where using solar panels in conjunction with farming helps keep local farmers afloat and promotes better growth from the shade (less water evaporation, plants also don’t do well with all day sunlight).
Solar farms are such a blight upon the earth. I can’t wait until we have better options.
