The padding I bought from a shop on etsy called SteelMastery that specializes in arming wear. And it’s really just for ren faire costuming. I do also plan on installing an aventail, I just don’t have the time or cash at the moment. I’m likely just going to get a cheap maille coif and cut it down to use as the aventail.
Brilliant work! What did you use for the padding? And is it for SCA type combat? Historical re-enactment?
