Havertz back at 9, Jesus to RW, Trossard/Reiss at LW, Rice/Odegaard/Partey in midfield? I think Elliott from ArsenalVision brought up the fact that Havertz hasn’t really had a better game than the Community Shield. And if his confidence is rising, then ideally he’d start banging the goals in from open play.
I agree. He’s better off as a 9 for this upcoming match. The sad thing is we shouldn’t be having this conversation. We should have gotten a proper 8 and a proper 9 in the transfer window. Now, we are reconfiguring the lineup to accommodate a player, instead of the player fitting right in and elevating the team.
