Without one, Rangers can’t access the Morph Grid to use Morph Energy to morph. Fun fact, in one Sentai series, they actually used the explosions(“excess morph energy”) to take out some of the generic baddies!
I think it’s also technically the keys to their giant robots?
You know, it makes a lot of sense now where the phrase “its morbin’ time” got its origin. Boy do they say it a lot. Never watched power rangers so it is a weird thing to see this video.
