I really try to think of myself as being nonjudgmental, apparently not in regards to the folks.

I have read/skimmed most of the articles about these people every time another is sentenced, every single time, at the end of the article, a voice/my conscience automatically chimes in, internally, “wow, pathetic”.

So many of them have essentially whined, “I had a bad childhood/youth. I shouldn’t be punished for trying to overthrow the government :(”. Take responsibility for your own actions.
