    12 years of school and they never bothered to teach us this. I’ve spent so much of my adult life trying to learn metric on my own. My dadgum Ford is entirely metric, even the spark plugs and it was built in USA where I live. Even the sticker in the door that tells weight and specs like tire pressure have metric ratings. Thankfully, it also has imperial because I would have felt so dumb pulling out a calculator to calculate proper tire pressure.
