My absolute favorite is Cartographer’s Craft. I’ve loved it since I first read it in 2006 or so, on FanFicAuthors.net. I’m was also fairly smitten by The Refiner’s Fire and Time of Destiny around the same time, but I haven’t reread those in a while.
For more modern fics, I love To Refuse The Givens, Adorable Violence, and Edelweiss.
