Spokane local here. Yeah, that cop has a reputation for this kind of thing. There was a previous incident where he answered a call at a bar where a guy sexually assaulted a woman, and she smacked him with a pool stick. She got kicked out of the bar. She called the cops to make a report. Cop shows up and beats the shit out of the guy. The oman tried to get the officer to stop and got arrested for obstruction. The judge sided with the cop.
