🚀 LET’S GO!

  • Be a Lemmy community member
  • Have an account on FK (you will be prompted for your email when “saving for later”)

We are looking forward to see the custom sets you’ll come up with! If you have any questions or comments, let us know!

FAQ

  • How will you pick the winner?

We’ll use an online randomizer altogether with obosob (community mod). First code pulled wins!

  • Can I make any layout or does it have to be ergo?

Any layout is can win this giveaway, but you know where our heart is!

  • Which keycap profile is allowed?

All keycap profiles are allowed. We currently have DSA, MDA, Cherry and MBK. If you have profile requests, submit a feature request

  • How many keys can I include in my custom layout?

There is no hard limit, but for the sake of it, let’s say 200 keys max 😉

Winner

Congrats to @[email protected] your set has been drawn and will be sent to you for free! I have also sent coupons to all other participants, I hope you have enjoyed testing the app as much as I did enjoy looking at your sets!

FYI I did the draw and sent a video to OBOSOB (mod of this sub) to show it’s been done in good faith!

    Thanks!

You may have missed a few options then, at the “Legends” step. You can:

    • click on keys to edit its text label (and also add text/icons or even custom SVG by clicking “vector”)
    • drag and drop icons from common icon libraries, from the “Icons” tab on the left panel

To edit your set to make those changes:

    • Go to your creations using this link, or by clicking the user icon in the top right
    • Click the set you want to edit
    • Click the “customize” button

Note that it won’t actually “edit” it, but create a new one. So you have to complete the process until “save for later”, and update your code in your first comment :)

Unicode chars should also work, if the font supports it. I’ve tested U+232B (Erase To The Left) with Everson Mono.
