Honestly, as much as I couldn’t care less about billionaires stuck in a sub because they ignored all safety mesures / warnings, they’re still human beings and I’m sure they’re scared as hell. Couldn’t imagine being where they are right now.

That being said, I wish the boat that sank with hundreds of people sinking on it had more coverage than this is getting…

Yeah they’re bunch of over privileged entitled pricks and I’m angry that people with that kind of money to blow exist and got themselves into this mess because they think rules don’t apply to them, but I am absolutely unable to feel any glee in this because it’s a really fucked up way to go if they’re trapped. Just imagining it makes me nauseous. I just hope the sub imploded and they died a quick death.

I happen to watch a news channel that covered that immigrant ship in Greece as it happened but the sub definitely attracted more interest and conversations… I do think the schadenfreude has to do with a lot of it.

I wonder what effect it could have if he was rescued at the last moment. Either he would become recluse and nuts or become the most altruistic person ever. We may never know since they ain’t found shit.

Yeah we really don’t know how they’ll be after this if they’re found. Will they be careful next time and listen to reason? Or keep a YOLO mentality? Who knows.
