That picture is from 1949. That’s PRR 4939, the last of the 139 GG1’s produced (numbered up from 4800) from 1943. The 1935 calendar picture is of the 4823. I love the GG1, such a beautiful locomotive.

now you say it i can see a slightly different style at the front, but i did think it was just the same image with a different background
