Same, I have kept up with this series for the same reason I keep up with Rent a GF; out of morbid curiosity. For me, the turn really happened when the author decided that we suddenly needed a whole batch of underclassmen girls that also needed to fall in love with Saotome. Like we didn’t have enough girls already. The other part that is annoying is that it is clear who the “winner” will be, because her name is literally the title of the manga. So, why build up so much drama around it?
