minus-squareroguetricklinkfedilink0•edit-21 year agoTaking it out of the water and getting it bound up with activated carbon is a net benefit. Much less chance of it leaking back out when stuck in the carbon compared to when it was already in the water.
It’s not the charcoal that’s the problem, it’s the PFAS it absorbs. You don’t want those in the ground.
