Without the decades, if not century long use as a derisive and hateful insult? I have to wonder how many have had “cisgender” screamed at them repeatedly while being brutally beaten or murdered… oh yeah none. Deciding to come up with your own slurs for yourself is like trying to choose your own nickname.
Seems as much of a slur as calling a gay person a homo. It’s just short for homosexual
