Exactly. If you trust her then just ask her. If you don’t trust her then she’s not much of a friend. If your friendship ends over that then she wasn’t much of a friend anyways. Just be sure to actually use your words and not just make a move because just making a move and getting rejected is a far more likely way to end a friendship.
I’m about as socially competent as a 4chan user and even I managed to do that. I asked, got shot down, and everything was fine. I actually did that twice because she was not nearly blunt enough when she shot me down the first time and I am stupid. Even then everything was fine we’re still best friends several years later. We wingman for each other and other times we’re basically each others beards.
Best advice right here. Also we live in 2023, even good friendship seam to not last past 10 years at this point. Might as well try to upgrade for the duration.
