    Couldn’t agree more. It’s been exciting to see the development, connect with people, and see meaningful content posted every day.

    I have found myself actually being more open to exploring new and different content rather than sticking with my typical genres. Makes it easier as the site grows to learn more and appreciate it.

      I’d highly suggest making communities if you think of something no one has made yet, or if there’s subreddits without communities here. Most people seem to be afraid of being a mod here for some reason, so they might look for their favourite community and if they don’t see it here, not bother switching to Lemmy. If the community gets large, you can always add more mods to help, or even hand the keys to someone else. I recently had someone hand me the keys to their community and it was a very easy and smooth operation overall. Also, engage in the smaller communities! They’ll only grow if people post. Not saying you don’t or anything but I try to tell that to everyone when it comes up, and given that this post is getting a bit of attention at the moment, hopefully someone will read this and decide to be more active. It doesn’t help to be a lurker
