Update for the post two weeks ago: https://lemmy.ml/post/5814564

They’ve reverted the attempted license change and made it crystal clear that the entire project is under the AGPL now.

Anyone using this. Can it be fully self hosted with all features?

https://standardnotes.com/help/self-hosting/docker there’s some information there about licenses on self-hosted servers and the need to buy some “offline” thing that isn’t listed on the pricing page. Anyone can chip in? Thanks.

What’s the price? They don’t provide that info without proving more details…

True story. If the company is a consulting company they’ll sugar coat price omission as “we have to evaluate your needs in order to sell you the right product”. :D

I’m not sure, can’t find it anymore either… and last time i looked I also looked for a while. If it helps they also have a 30% student discount.

That’s a great solution but totally overkill for my needs and I don’t get what’s their thing with having OnlyOffice Spreadsheets but not the rest. There’s a blog article saying they’ve integrated it all but the official instance doesn’t have Documents. For what’s worth FileBrowser will be way simpler to setup and use than Cryptpad for most people once they merge the OnlyOffice integration. https://github.com/filebrowser/filebrowser/pull/1420

For now I’ll stick with Joplin but the mobile App is a disaster.
