      It makes them, not real. We allow nations. We could easily create a world without nations and borders. Dare to dream.

        Sure! Its just a point about semantics. Apples and planes and tables and chairs are all constructs, but theyre also very real. Just like nations, borders and ideas.

          Material versus immaterial. A chair 🪑 is a material object. It’s physical. Nations and borders are ideas that have no physical material. If I walk to the border if my “nation” there is no material dashed line representing the border. There’s a river. Intro to philosophy should be taught in schools.

                I guess not, but im willing to try to understand you, if you can explain to me what the issue is. I guess you believe materiality = reality? Thats fine, but you can’t impose that belief on others. Or am I completely off-base here?
