I may be cynical but any distro that is tightly integrated with systemd, as it makes their life so much easier, may also find they have come to rely heavily on the generosity and kindness of IBM.
This is days after Debian announce a new release with the tightest systemd integration yet.
IBM have systemd, wayland, gnome, pipewire alongside the feature creep of systemd is quite the package.
I’m glad projects like Gentoo, Slackware, Void, Crux and stuff like musl and toybox are keeping choice alive.
This has been a 10yr plan.
