With all the Lemmy apps (especially Jerboa) on the way, I was wondering what the best installation method is to get the latest updates regularly (I’m on Android).
- Play Store, if available?
- Pulling the apks from GitHub (too much effort for me, actually).
- F-Droid or some other repo?
I’m not very familiar with the subject, would appreciate any pointers.
I doubt the play store is pulling from git, as for F-droid I don’t know but it’s currently on the same stable release as play store. Jerboa seem to be doing mostly alpha releases though so if you want those I guess get them from git.
