It looks like it already is.
Look at the views their normal tweets get, then look at the views the tweet with this video got. There’s a huge difference.
Whether or not it’ll carry over into tv viewers or ppv buys, we’ll have to wait and see, but it’s at least had an impact on their social numbers.
It’s true. The name change doesn’t do much for me (I wasn’t watching so I don’t have nostalgia for that era) but it seems to be going over very well online. And D’amore’s reasoning in their press release made a lot of sense (people still chant TNA at shows, overseas broadcasters still refer to them as TNA in meetings).
