The resolution included 31 rules, including one excluding Sen. Angela Paxton from voting on “any matter, motion, or question” in the trial and from participating in closed deliberations.
Guess who was one of the three senators who voted against the rules.
So after reading into it more it’s actual right to be pessimistic unfortunately. She gets to sit on the hearing and be present but isn’t allowed to vote. So she’s essentially an automatic no. It’s like they put it in there for the headline with the loophole to get what they actually want.
