I get the sentiment and sarcasm, but I don’t know democracy and equal rights by force is the best way to go here. I mean Iraq did keep a relatively functioning democracy after America overthrew Sadam Hussein, but at an extremely horrific cost with violence still ongoing. Afghanistan’s democracy fell before America was even finished leaving after two decades of occupation. I think it’s fine for America to encourage democracy and human rights in other ways besides acting like world police and invading every authoritarian country. Like for starters maybe they could cut down on Israeli military funding?!? As a condition for progress in ending their apartheid state? Just spit balling here.

I’d obviously love for America to be uniform and always support democracy and human rights instead of only sometimes, but personally worry even more about countries that can’t even be bothered to pretend to care.

US has always been about profits when it comes to “wars”. The salesmen in charge would hang for this, if there was any honor and fairness in the world. Instead the products get references by being tested on Palestinians. I see the horror Hamas does but at the same time I see why they do it. Voice of the voiceless…Isreal then cries defense while colonizing and genociding. And anybody mentioning anything gets labeled antisemitic. Please
