DeSantis desperately wants to be
a real boypresident and if he quits now, he won’t be. If he keeps running, he still has a shot at being the nominee if Trump finally gets yanked from contention by the federal government, the state of Georgia, or his own hardened arteries. It costs DeSantis literally nothing to stay in; he’s still getting political donations and he doesn’t have to worry about the governorship since he’s term-limited.
