i thought a greater proportion of the population than 0.1% was trans though?

it sounds to me as though, if 3% of the population at large is trans, then the trans community is committing only 1/30th as much domestic terrorism as there SHOULD be.

Gotta pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers in this racket.

Just looked at the recent census results for the UK which is where I am and only 0.5% reported their gender identity is different to the gender they were assigned at birth, further to that only 0.2% specifically said they were trans. Not sure what it’s like where you’re from but 3% seems quite high.

i shall accept your corrective information and update my expectations. makes my personal experience seem even more of a huge outlier but… eh, i guess in for a penny in for a pound or something.

You have to realize that not many folks are going to openly identify themselves to a government that has been hostile to them.

Source for the trans numbers? I’m pretty sure Canada is the only country that has actually reported them, and its largely dependent in generation.

If taking gen Z (the largest percent of trans people, least bais due to fear of coming out) its just under 1%, meaning trans people would be 10x less likely to cause a mass shooting
