Yes. I mostly lurked on Reddit and I definitely miss that there was always something new to read, but I’m definitely not discouraged by what I see on Lemmy currently given that it’s still in it’s infancy. Some basic functionality improvements would also solve the content issue by bring more people to the platform. I’ve already seen an upswing of shit posts in my my main feed when I go back, but I will still pop over there occasionally for content that isn’t on Lemmy yet.
