    There are multiple issues I have with this text but a major one is this:

    And I feel almost no support from the country as an expat

    I hate the word expat because to me it feels like someone doesn’t want to be part of the country they’re in.
    How then, do you expect to enjoy your time there?

      Expat implies a refusal to integrate or fit in in general. Why should the host country care about such people in the slightest? I’m not from here and I’d use the word “immigrant” as I am not planning to leave anytime soon.
