MGS1 and MGS2 are locked at 720p on PC, but getting them to run at higher resolutions has turned out to be trivial with a mod.

Cool, but it introduces a bunch of bugs in MGS2. You’re better off getting an emulator, the HD collection, and increasing the internal rendering resolution to 4k. Can even play peace walker in 4k that way
