minus-square@JakorlinkEnglish1•1 year agoThey’re expensive mostly market availability of components is still lacking, but it improves by the day. Much higher pressures - relief valves up to 1740psi on transcritical systems. It sounds scary, but working on a CO2 system is SO much easier imo.
Propane is an absolute badass refrigerant in a car AC system… Works way better, pollutes less… People just have issues with the whole explosion thing.
