It’s been a hot minute since I played sims 2 but I liked how the babies were done. They weren’t in a burrito (sims 3) and they weren’t treated as an object (sims 4).
Wtf why have I not heard about this before lol thanks. I remember asking about it when toddlers were added and the Sim gurus said it would never get redone correctly.

The former “baby” stage is now a “newborn” and they added a free update for an “Infant” stage inbetween newborn and toddler. It’s freaking adorable.
