Who would have thought? Sticking up for yourself results in better treatment. I would have thought keeping quiet and being greatful for what you do have would have made the people in power treat you even better than they already don’t. The more you learn.
Just keep your head down and let the masters take as much as they can take.
If you have any luck, then you will survive for a while even as the ranks begin to thin.
