In Sweden we still have football (“soccer”) hooligans that do nothing but attack both fans, player and the general public. I usually point to F1 as a sport where everybody’s just happy and get along no matter who they root for.
I’m worried this has become more common in the last few years.

Absolutely unacceptable behavior for adults to attack other adults because they support a different team.
Anyone that acts like this is not a fan and doesn’t deserve to call themselves one
