Still though, wild it has taken this long. Should have been a given that only domestically produced or heavily vetted apps make it onto government phones.

Office suite, text, call, maps, browser should cover (almost?) all needs, no?
Pretty much. And it’s not like it’s out of their power(monetary) to have Apple/Google/etc. create bespoke phones specifically for government use.
No god damned government employee needs TikTok. Hell, they don’t even need Facebook. Keep that shit on your personal.
