There are some dog slow piece of shit engines in some of these classics, especially many 70s and 80s cars, before they figured out how to make a decent design while still confirming to emissions standards. I’m talking 6L V8s with a 140HP kind of bullshit. Nothing of value would be lost by converting those old boats into EVs.
