Hate crimes are on the increase everywhere. People still have serious problems with other people having a different skin color.
Only now they’ve found internet communities to reenforce those biases to make it seem normal.
More importantly, people in power encouraging them. It’s used to be that this behavior was considered unacceptable, at least outside of private places like Klan meetings. But now it’s “we love you, you’re all very special”.
