If desktop displays and TVs are any indicator, OLED was probably skipped on the framework due to cost, power consumption and longevity concerns. Just sitting here waiting for microLED to be a thing in consumer electronics :(

minus-squareViklinkEnglish2•1 year agoNeat thing is that they may offer broader display options for both form factors in the future. And if they don’t offer this directly, there’s nothing to say that a third party vendor couldn’t fill this gap.
