I think it’s more accurate to say that Israel is often perceived to have the higher moral ground. Israel is generally much better at creating positive public image, particularly in the international community. However that image is now wearing thin.
But after what happened the 7th October, I don’t see what you expect Israelis to do? Just send good vibes & prayers to victims families? They absolutely need to destroy Hamas, as counting on their political decay is not an option

We can finger point all day, but let’s at least not pretend people close to Netanyahu haven’t called for the “termination” of Gaza and its people.
