My friend said some stuff about “wokeness” the other day but when I explained the origin (which I described as simply being aware of the many injustices of the system) he paused and said, “…shit, I guess I’m woke”
Has changed over the years though. Today it’s probably more like “anything which does not adhere to a strict conservative Christian nationalist agenda” which includes but is not limited to awareness of racial injustice.
My understanding is that being ‘woke’ is just kind of not being an asshole to people.
Elon is basically saying, it’s funnier to be an asshole to people.
Here’s a tip. Don’t be an asshole to people. The joke is never worth it.
