minus-square@Sylvartaslink1•7 months agoYeah the correct term would be “commutative” as someone already pointed out. Meaning the order doesn’t matter when considering multiple percentages. E.g 50% of 73% of something is the same as 73% of 50% of that same thing

10 * 50% = 5
5 * 150% = 7.5
50% of 10 is 5
10% of 50 is 5
