Hammer for everything works for me since original Monster Hunter. Sometimes I need to cut tails solo, then I go with Lance. Very rare occasions I use bow if hammer or lance can’t reach (Safi’jiiva wings) or the monster just won’t stop flying (Azure Rathalos).
