That reminds me of the words of Jews during the lead up to WWII. No one wanted to be the first to die, so they all died. It’s easy to say to sit down and protest when you’re free.

True they can’t throw everyone into solitary, but they can enact a lockdown which comes with its own particular cruelties and inequities
So they’re just going to lockdown everyone forever?
Doesn’t seem like a viable strategy to me.
