Probably not, the problem is that even at this point the most a left wing government is incentivized to do is to deport WB settlers back to their countries of origin, and that’s purely because those guys overwhelmingly vote likkud and their ilk.

I don’t think even the Arab Israeli party is for the solutions that would actually quell Hamas for the long run, that being to abolish the division between Israel and Palestine and establish a city state based confederation with absolute protection of civil rights and internal freedom of movement.

Complete with the seizure of war leader assets to serve as reparations to victims of the wars across either side of the border, it’d serve to liberate Palestinians and Israelis from the true enemy, their authoritarian leaders who are allies in all but status in keeping their people oppressed and away from the ability to democratically hold them to account.

Israel might call itself a democracy but the right has every incentive to just keep crashing governments until they win big enough just from fatiguing any would be opposition over repeated votes. Meanwhile Hamas governs a territory where half the population wasn’t even alive yet when they last won an election, one I only don’t suspect foul play in since the Muslim Brotherhood and related parties apparently tend to do well when an Arab state gives democracy a first spin.
