That is being critical of a culture that was chosen in a very Stockholm syndrome sort of way. I think that he is trying to give black people agency to define a more responsible path forward. If you ever get a chance to watch the MLK comes out of a coma episode of The Boondocks, it speaks to this well. The black creators of The Boondocks must be conservatives or something.

The point that I was trying to make earlier was that you don’t have the numbers to indicate the breakout of black people that agree versus disagree with the author’s sentiments. I don’t reasonably have that either. If a supermajority of black people like their broken ghetto culture, then I don’t believe that they have grounds to complain about their current conditions nor should they get any special treatment.
