I’m trying to stop using Reddit, but it having an app I know about makes it have quite an advantage.
I know there’s a few apps out there I can use to browse Lemmy, but I’m not sure about their names and the different features they offer.

There is Thunder: https://github.com/hjiangsu/thunder. You can upvote/downvote, reply and whatnot by doing side-swipes. Pretty neat.
I second this. Hs been my favorite so far.
Currently going through all Android apps i could find and currently enjoying thunder with it’s swiping to vote. Feels really great. - posted from thunder
