Ah, now you “think” that I am “upset.” Just like you “wager” than I’m Gen-Z.

You sure are the Flying Squid expert and I like how you believe that saying “think” somehow doesn’t mean you’re making assumptions about me or about black people.

I know you know everything, but asking questions before you make assumptions would be the polite thing to do.

“I think” is short for “I hypothesize based upon the evidence that I have been exposed to”. Kind of goes without saying, so I thought. Sure, I’m making some broad assumptions. I want to be proven wrong. Attacking my source’s character as calling them self-hating doesn’t really prove my points wrong. I wouldn’t still be conversing with you if I wasn’t interested in getting some differing opinions and possibly some useful facts. I can only infer your tone based upon your written words, so if they are not your intention, you may need to express that better. I am impressed how quickly you respond, however am still waiting for some substance to any of your counterclaims.

Ever think of asking? Have you ever even tried asking rather than ‘hypothesize?’

I don’t know why you think I want to have a legitimate conversation with you when you ‘hypothesize’ things about me that are nonsense rather than just ask me.

          Sure.

          • How do you propose that the problem of disproportionate black crime and underachievement in America be addressed?
          • Why is Sowell’s solution of a culture shift not reasonable?
          • Why do black people have low representation in the middle and upper class when so many other ethnic groups have broken through this barrier?

I clearly meant ask questions about me rather than assume things about me. The clue was in me saying so.

I literally said: “I don’t know why you think I want to have a legitimate conversation with you when you ‘hypothesize’ things about me that are nonsense rather than just ask me.”

I’m not going to answer those questions while you continue to ‘hypothesize’ things about me that aren’t true.

Actually, it’s too late for you to ask those questions about me. You clearly don’t want to know. You’ll just keep making false claims about me and claim you’re ‘hypothesizing’ about me rather than making false claims as if that excuses it.

So we’re done here. You can have your precious last word. That doesn’t make you any less of a racist, a hypocrite and a fool though.

You are all talk and no substance. I tried to have a conversation, but you were too butt hurt that I would have the gumption to assume things about you based upon your answers. If someone calls you something that you are not, it is very easy to address that directly instead of being sour about it. You had a chance to change my mind. Instead you have solidified it further. You can’t answer those questions because you know it will lead to a line-of-reasoning that is disagreeable to you.

Sorry for assuming that you were a black Zoomer. I was wrong for doing that.

I’m willing to read everything from all sides and play devil’s advocate in order to incite people into lively debate. That’s how I learn.

I’m not as racist as I let people on to believe in online forums. My goal is to do the thought experiment and come out on the other side with a better understanding of why I should or shouldn’t trust Sowell for example.

I commend you for your feedback on my debate tactics. I will stop making direct assertions about people and will instead make them into questions.
