Nothing announced an iMessage app and two days later Apple adopted RCS. Coincidence? Yes, and it's foolish to pretend otherwise.

Nah just everyone else is on Telegram/signal/WhatsApp. Only iPhone users are on the stock messaging app that doesn’t work with any other brands.
