In Israeli politics security is more important

Which is a big part of the reason for declining popularity of the Netanyahu government.

Apart from many Israelis being morally opposed to the genocidal tactics of the government, more and more are seeing through the propaganda and realising that those tactics are actually making Israeli much LESS secure than an approach respecting international law and basic human decency would.

Again, Netanyahu’s popularity is declining because he failed to do the one thing he had promised to do right. Whoever comes after him will have the same policy when it comes to dealing with occupied territories, there will be no attempts at peace because the public doesn’t support a peace effort.

Full may have been an overstatement, perhaps the word “majority” would fit better.

      Regardless, here are some sources:

Israel has made peace with Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, the PLO, UAE, Bahrain, etc.

I was talking about Israel v. Palestine, the countries surrounding haven’t gave Israel any trouble for a long time.

Because israel got fucked in Lebanon by Hezbollah and had to retreat which gave the Lebanese no reason to fight.

Strange how people just stop attacking once you stop stealing their land right.

            PLO is also Palestine.

Israel has no problem figuring out how to make peace, as long as they have a willing partner. They have given up more land in peaceful transfers for the sake of peace than the entire current area of Israel and Palestine combined

That’s highly misleading at best. The only time Israel ever ceded territory was giving the Sinai peninsula back to Egypt, which had little to nothing to do with Palestine.

Besides, they’re continuing to build illegal settlements in the West Bank as a matter of official policy, with the explicitly stated goal of making the Palestinian communities there more and more fractured until all of it is de facto Israel.

This in the area controlled by a legitimate government that does NOT keep attacking Israel.

Oh and BTW, they keep oppressing peaceful farmers there who have done nothing wrong.

Hardly. They also withdrew from Gaza and removed all settlements, which unfortunately led to the election of Hamas.

They have offered to return most of the west bank to Jordan, who declined because they didn’t want to deal with the Palestinian refugee problem. Israel has made multiple serious offers for Palestinian statehood with recognized borders including 99% of the West Bank, 100% of Gaza, East Jerusalem, and a corridor connecting West Bank and Gaza. The PA has backed out of every agreement because they didn’t want to deal with the extremists in Gaza. Plus, they would have to give up all that foreign aid that has made their leaders billionaires.

                  They also withdrew from Gaza

If by “withdrew from” you mean "made an open air concentration camp out of.

                  removed all settlements

While still building more and more illegal settlements in the West Bank

which unfortunately led to the election of Hamas.

No. A combination of how the Israeli government treats Palestinians and Hamas lying about being moderate peacemakers led to that.

They have offered to return most of the west bank to Jordan

How gracious of them to offer land that isn’t theirs to a third party! 🤦

Israel has made multiple serious offers for Palestinian statehood

Under the de facto rule of the Israeli government. And the last time was the Oslo Accords in the 90s and Rabin got assassinated by people who are now Netanyahu supporters for it.

with recognized borders including 99% of the West Bank

Again, several decades ago and the prime minister was murdered by Netanyahu’s wing for it. Today, 60% is under full control of Israel.

                  100% of Gaza

The same Gaza where they cut off all water, electricity and medicine and then bragged about letting in 100 trucks total to supply 6 million people? THAT’S what you call 100% control?

that foreign aid that has made their leaders billionaires.

While that IS true of Hamas, it’s quite hypocritical to talk about foreign aid when Israel, already one of the richest countries in the world with the highest standards of living, receives over 3 billion dollars from the US alone every year.

In conclusion: while you’re right about Hamas being a bunch of piece of shit terrorists, you couldn’t be more wrong in your portrayal of the Israeli as magnanimous benefactors wrongfully maligned.

It’s a fascist apartheid regime fighting a bunch of terrorists, with the victims mainly being innocent civilians from both countries.
