I hadn’t taken my meds yet, and it was generally a foggy brain morning. I was already trying to decide what to do with the day when my husband asked.

Ladies, I seriously damn near cried cause I didn’t know what to say and my brain went “MEEP!”

Thankfully, my husband recognizes these moments and reassured me I had all the time in the world to decide and gave me options, which was helpful.

Is that the case for you? I can’t even imagine, must be hard especially if you are both overstimulated and need a break. But then maybe you really understand each other?

My husband has autism, and the structure he needs and builds helps me tremendously. He literally keeps me on track, it’s like having a more organized brain I can borrow.

Yeah, I have just adhd, but she has adhd and is on the spectrum. It takes a lot of patience on both sides.

I can imagine, it must be rough at times. I hope that it’s a happy union overall and that you complement each other.
